Completed prototype - Our first folder

Hi this is my first post and I just created an account today. I am not sure where to begin posting but please let me know if I should move this. We do hope to make more friends in the knife community - so far we have been deep in our grinding dungeon for the better part of a year, making this prototype. But its finally finiished. We call it the Shamshir Folder. What do you think of our design?

That is a neat design! I've grown fond of that particular blade shape lately.
 
Beautiful folder, I would purchase if available. Do you have any specs as far as material, dimensions? Do you plan on intrducing these as a large production run?

We are currently finalizing the knife for a limited production run; also we are giving one of these away every month starting in September. We will draw one name a month from our social media followers and give this blade away. We dont have many followers yet, so the best chance of winning is right now ;)

The scales are 5.5" long

This is our first prototype folder so not a ton of images - I have a few other shots here, but definitely more to come as we are in our first very small production run.

Digging that scimitar-like blade style and the lock insert. Any chance of a tip-up clip variation?
 
Ive had a lot of feedback regarding the style of the clip on reddit. some people have linked me to knife kits that look very similiar (clip only). Also like you many people want Tip Up. I have decided that I will redesign the clip and make it Tip Up.

That's great :thumbup: probably the only thing I would have changed about the knife.
 
Get on Instagram. The knife gurus would eat this up! I can help you out too. My page has over 40k followers and I know a lot of people in the gun and knife niche. Nice work!
 
Those are slick! Very nice. I like all the blade steels you offer with it. That's going to really fly well with us knife enthusiast. :thumbup:

Sorry, but advertising is restricted to those with paid knife maker memberships. It's not fair to allow this to fly on the backs of those that pay to keep this place open.
