Hello Bladeforums!

I have been making custom knives for the past three years now, and wanted to share my work with everyone. All of my knives are constructed from CPM-S35VN, and are heat treated in house to 59 HRC (each and every blade gets tested). I offer the options of custom markings (some examples can be seen in the images below), various colors, finishes, and belt fasteners. If you are interested in my work, you can head to my website and check things out over at www.complianceedgeknives.com. I am happy to answer any questions you might have, and I look forward to making knives for some of you good folks!

Regards, Yoni

Hey Brownshoe,

When I started making knives, I had a friend of mine doing it with me. He used to work with Delta Force and had been around the block, so when we were coming up with the name, I brought up that I liked the word "Edge" in the name. He came up with "Compliance Edge" because when you whip one out, you will quickly get compliance from your target, suspect, assailant etc. So the edge demands compliance more or less. But he had to pull out because he got to busy with work since he is now a LEO, and the name stuck. I could have switched it to "Wunderman Knives" since my last name is Wunderman, and I am a one man garage operation, but the name grew on me and it's here to stay. A little long, but I hope that answers your question!

Thanks for the explanation. I missed it earlier. They certainly look like they can bring someone into "compliance" :)
