Hey everybody. I'm not sure about you but I've got a handful of knives that I enjoy and wish were just a hair different. I have access to most shop tools and could easily order various materials from which to fashion them. My only concern is this seems too easy and I don't want to sink a lot of money into something that turns out to be much trickier than it appears.
I was planning to stick to micarta and G-10 for the first few attempts and work up from there. Most of the knives I had in mind are full liner knives that seem easy enough to replace the stock scale with something of higher quality. Think the Kershaw Strobe and you'll get the idea.
Any words of wisdom before I dive in?
