My compliments to Buck for a fine job for producing quality products at reasonable prices. I own a few Bucks and have always been satisfied - until now! Now I'm really impressed! The Buck knives I own have been purchased over about a 20-25 year period. These days it isn't unusual to see companies produce high quality products for a brief period but not many do so over an extended time like Buck has. Just this week I obtained a 192 with the BG42 blade - I believe it was an over-run after the Master Series production ended. This is a great knife - great looking, well finished, sharp blade with good edge holding, a comfortable handle and well balanced. It is now my favorite Buck and the reason I am more than satisfied!
Now for the questions. What other models does Buck plan to produce in BG42 and when? I would be very interested in other models in BG42.
I am a leftie and would love to obtain left handed sheaths for both a 102 and the new 192 I just received. Does Buck make LH sheaths and if so who do I contact to get them? If Buck doesn't make them, does someone know another source - preferably one that already has a pattern so I don't have to part with my knives?
Thanks again to the people at Buck for making great products.
