First batch of the Composite Blade Leek's (1660CB) left the factory today. Just thought you all would like to know.

Thanks for the heads-up Thomas!

I hope a few of them make it up here to Canada (I've just now poked my "Canuck" source about 'em).

Cheers,

Gosh it almost seems like we should have a contest to kick off the first production Composite Blades hitting the market! I mean I do have the first one off the production line sitting here all lonely like on my desk.

The first one off the line should never be lonely . . . I would be happy to have it over to my house to play with friends :)

...Well I'm hardly ever "First" at anything according to the better half...:o...but I'll bet I'm the "First" one to destroy another keyboard from droolin' over the thought of those Composite Leeks...:eek::p

I would love to have a Composite Leek to go with my composite JYD2!

The suspense is killing me.

I've been practicing with a set of scales for this one.

Pre-order at mdye@newgraham.com. Make sure you put "Pre-order Kershaw Leek 1660CB" in the subject line. Mary Beth or Annie will return your email as confirmation.

And tell them Brad sent you...

Thanks, I like to order for NGK when possible but I never figured out how their preorders worked.

I cannot say at this time. Just not finished yet.
Let's just say epoxy paint is not fun. Looks good, but not fun. :)

I never cared for the stuff either. One minute it's paint the next it is a solid block and some of it smells about like model glue.

The smell isn't bothering me. I'm doing this in a small room with no windows.
Wait, where's the door? I think I'm in a cube.
Look at all these ants. You hear that barking?

I think the back of the package says something about ventilation and possible death due to over exposure.......It's probably not important. Raid should get rid of those ants though. I'd imagine you don't need ventilation for that either.:D
