Yeah, it kind of is a quick little short sword. And at only about a pound, it's fast as hell!:)

Nice work, Jesse. For a young guy you sure have ages of talent!

I'll stand back while you display how FAST this one is....

Hi Jesse,

Well you have the skills. Lighting and placement is great. I would only offer a preference: It's almost imperative on a large piece to have an inset-so you can finally get in close enough to see the details. The longer the piece the more this is affected.

That said, your two insets are maybe 20% larger in size. Not offering the viewer much more in the detail. Get IN there and show them closer.

Second, the guard area on ANY knife is usually the biggest visual draw. I see something fancy going on in there, but I'll be damned if I can see what.

My insets tend to be fairly large to show the work closely. It is always a balance of spacing and placement to make it all work.

Lastly, 640 pixels wide is an old standard. Nowadays I don't know anyone who is using a monitor at a resolution of 1024 or less. Broadband connections are more prevalent than dial up. I start at 750 wide.

Thanks. Only cuz you asked. :D

Awesome. Thanks!

I'll do another one with better insets. That's a great tip.:)

I do have a larger version, I guess I kept it this size for some of the forums. I'll keep the size in mind, though. Maybe add a thumbnail to the larger version.

Thanks bro.:D

Hi Jesse,
