Thanks for that link. They have a nice selection of epoxies and carbon & glass fabric as well as others, coloring pigments and such. Just placed an order so I will be able to hopefully answer you in a couple weeks. BEG
 
I was just looking through the site and it looks like they use a white core for their panels. If your grinding them for scales I'm not sure how that would look. It might be worth it to give them a call to be sure.

Wow, b careful !! I spent $140.00 on an order. It's been two weeks and now they are not even answering the phone ! Plus they could not fill my order. I will never deal with them again.
 
Usually, if something is too good to be true, it probably is. over a buck per square inch is huge. however, AKS has carbon fiber in .134 and .136, so you should be fine.
 
I bought from them in the past and everything went great shipping was even pretty fast... I remember them telling me they where in the process of moving awhile back.
 
Mike, i have dealt with them in the past and they were great. Good prices, good customer service and fast shipping. On a side note, when did you move out of MI?
