Bark River, black and green stropping compound is some pretty good stuff.:thumbup: Check out knivesshipfree.com they have a pretty good selection.

-If your a cheap ass, you can get buffing wheel compound dirt cheap from Sears. ...It does work, just not as nicely as the more expensive BR stuff.
 
You guys that are into stropping with compounds should try Zam. It works great as a final finish on steel after chromium oxide.

I like Zam for cleaning ceramic rods and stones. I never thought to try it as a finishing polish. Thanks!
