Comprehensive vs ESEE Pack kit

I have been putting together my Get Home Bag for a couple weeks now, and I need some more stuff in it, like a 6" blade, first aid kit, etc.

BUT, I am unsure if I should take my chances to try grabbing an ESEE Pack Kit when they are announced on the 25th (I realize there will be a mad rush),

OR
Should I just go ahead now and buy the comprehensive kit and find a smaller pack later?

I need all the stuff in the comprehensive kit, but if I go with the ESEE Pack kit I will still need to purchase all the other stuff.

Any sage advice?

The comprehensive kit is more than worth the money. You cannot get the individual components for less than the kit price and it includes a 6!

yeah, IMO the kit is a great deal. unless u wanna have the kit and make a truck kit smaller mabe w/ an izula

I agree, get the kit. You are going to need the stuff in it and you get a 6!

Looking at the other thread, the Comp. kit seems to be a great base for a GHB. I'd add a real water container instead of just a baggie, a GI poncho (tarp or rain gear), and some lifeboat rations. Perfect kit to keep in your car.
