Hey all, I have a brand new superleaf and the blade isn't dropping free when I depress the lock. With my pm2's I could use it almost like an axis lock. I could depress the lock and swing the blade closed or open very easily. The blade would also drop free when depressing the lock. When I depress the lock on the superleaf it moves very little and I have to push the blade closed with a finger.

Is this something that needs to break in or should I make an adjustment? Would I adjust the pivot screw or stop pin? Thanks guys!

That's how mine was as well. You can wait for it to break in, or add a few drops of lube and that should take care of it.

Yes.
Any/all of the above.
And even though it's new doesn't mean that it's clean. A good flush out and a drop of lube works wonders sometimes.

Remove pivot screw.
Add blue locktite.
Tweek the pivot to your liking.
Let it cure.
Done

To refine this a bit.

Loosen pivot and stop pin screws. Adjust pivot to taste, apply Loctite to clean threads. Adjust stop pin screws to taste, apply Loctite to clean threads. Let cure overnight.
