Compression lock/Yojimbo 2 question

I recently received a Yojimbo 2 S90V. Love the knife. Lock up is solid, no blade play. But the compression lock is sitting about 50-55%. It hasn't seemed to move at all after opening several dozen times but was just curious if this was fairly normal. The only reason I even ask is because the lockup seemed much earlier on my Para 2 and seemed to only have moved very slight after a couple of years.

About 30% on my S90v Yo2.

It's steel on steel, I wouldn't be concerned at all, as I wouldn't imagine it would go over much further in BOTH of our lifetimes.

And I realize that rationally (I'm not always rational with these things)...but I just wanted to double check. It only even caught my attention because the PM2 is at around 30%, like your Yo2.

My CF Yojimbo 2 has been sitting just shy of 50% since I received it. I'm one of those people who fiddles with their knives and I easily open it hundreds of times a day. Lockup has stayed consistent.

I've not had any of my numerous compression locks move over so you should be good to go. I love my Yo 2 in S90V. I can't believe they have yet to sell out at KC.

^ KC, or KW?

And I've only had one Compression-lock equipped knife get blown out and develop a lot of vertical play and it was a Salsa.
Both of my Yojimbo 2's are rock solid and consistent. One of my favorite designs.

Don't you worry. It's steel rubbing against steel, al it will happen is galling. It will take a looooong time before the lock will wear off.
