I run CCleaner, and in the past it has always deleted the history in Firefox.

I find now that I have a site that does not disappear.

I have gone into TOOLS and tried to delete all history that way, still there.

Not sure what else I can add.

Anyone experience this??

Open IE and see if there are any settings in there that got out of whack.

Just found this on ehow.com--

Click Start on the desktop.
#
Step 2

Go to Settings.
#
Step 3

Click Control Panel.
#
Step 4

Double-click Internet Options.
#
Step 5

Make sure the General tab is selected.
#
Step 6

Click Clear History in the History box.
#
Step 7

Click OK when it asks if you want to delete all items in your history folder.
#
Step 8

Click OK at the bottom of the General box to exit.

The following may not directly address your history issue but are worth checking.

Spybot Search and Destroy will sometimes fix tracking cookies that others may miss. Bleachbit is an open source program that will/can remove flash cookies.

Another more extreme alternative is to export your bookmarks, write down your
add-ons and uninstall FF and then reinstall.

Best of luck and hope one of the suggestions help,
J.

Is the site in your bookmarks? If so, FF will always list it. You may have bookmarked it without noticing. I'd check that first.

I went in and found all instances by doing a search.

Deleted all of them.

Seems to have worked.

Thanks for the help germs.
