Spelled my user name wrong and can't seem to figure out how to change it. If someone could help I would sure appreciate it

Actually guys, please don't encourage people to reregister. ;) Consider the $10 fee a "dumbass" tax.

I work in the oil-patch, I normally run 60-70 man crews, and I make a pretty fair knife in my spare time, when I have any. I spend a lot of time aquiring hands-on experience in the real world, not attached to a computer. I thought I might try this out for some intelligent conversation.

I guess that maybe because I can make a knife but not a web-site, people on the other ends of computers feel they can talk down to you. Well Spark, you can keep the "DUMBASS" title, and I'll keep my $10, and just mosey on.

Thanks for everything

So, you didn't pay attention to what you were doing, and want someone else to fix your problem, but don't want to be talked down to about it. Fair enough. I don't see how you running 60-70 man crews makes it my fault you registered incorrectly though.

Here's some history: we used to change people's names for free. That lead to people wanting to change their names all the time, which lead to a giant waste of my time. So, instead of wasting my time, we encourage people to think before registering and to choose the right name the first time. If they don't, a small fee to have their username changed isn't out of line. If you don't like the term "dumbass tax" then you can substitute "service charge" at your leisure.

Regardless, enjoy.

It's clear that you're more of a man than anybody on this forum. Not as smart as them, but still more manly.
