Conan thread?

I'm guessing it has been locked down by the moderation crew, although why I can only hazard a guess. Perhaps it has something to do with some of those licensing issues I mentioned? It doesn't seems like that would be a problem, you can build yourself anything you want with no issues, but talking about selling it might have been the rub. Just guesses on my part, I certainly didn't report the thread.
 
Considering Marto, Albion and now Windlass have purchased rights to produce the swords, it is not so much patent but copyright one might consider.


A note to BF moderation, maybe they just forgot to opt not to leave a re-direct to the threads moved to trash bins or other administrative areas. It is nice when they might mention why or where or who but what the hey, there is a lot more to life than worrying about it. A note from a moderator may have gone out to persons, who knows? There is a check mark when moving items to elect no re-direct or expiring re-dierct.

God bless them (moderators and adminisrators) each and every one (even for ticking a bad boy mark on me :p )

The thread was moved to the Back End to close it. The OP crossed the line by making a sales offer. Maybe it is because I am a moderator, but I see it right below this thread?????
 
I asked because I was following along and wanted to know where it was moved. It did say "moved" not removed, so well...anyway, Karda PM'ed me to say it was removed due to sales conversations in the thread. Stacy, it must be because you're a Mod, there's no longer a thread there, just the title. All's well that end's well, I'm sure the Op learned a lession about forum do's and don'ts.
 
Right, whatever level of authority you are at you can still (even now) change it to an expiring re-direct. When you move something, there will be location options and the re-direct options. Leave none, leave expiring or leave permanent. The back end, as you call it is not visible to those without the keys, so whatever other notation that might have been added is not seen by "us".

Stuff probably better discussed amongst the moderators or in a support section. The drop down menus and buttoms you have for options should be apparent in a "manage" mode. Deleting text in a post, locking threads and leaving a notation for all to see is something different.
