Conceal Carry Fanny Pack

I've been looking for a fanny pack for fixed blade conceal carry similar to the handgun pack. For those times when jogging or hiking and not wearing a belt. Has anyone seen anything like this on the market?

Sure. Get a regular, ordinary, every-day fanny pack. The typical model has a small outer pocket, a large main pocket, and a flat pocket on the side next to you. Slip in a blade and don't zip it. You might want to do what my mother-in-law did: use a bit of masking tape to hold the blade in place.

I appreciate the tip on making a home-made pack, Esav, but I was wondering if there were any packs specifically made for a blade instead of a gun.

When I see a fanny pack that looks really nice, like somebody paid money for it, I know.

What you want is the cheapest thing out there, maybe even a give-away one with some radio station's logo or something screen printed on it.

Use the tape as discussed (an excellent idea) and it'll be great.

Hey Paladin...

While I've got your blade here,, if you want to shoot me over a fanny pack,, I'd be happy to attach a knife to the inside of it...

A few months ago I did a carry rig for an LEO where I actually screwed the sheath to the inside of his bullet proof vest.

This was done by using two small plates of concealex, and also allowed him to change position of the blade as well..

Something like this could easily be done with a fanny pack by screwing the same type of plates through the back wall of the the pack.

Let me know what you think, and shoot me a private e-mail..

Great idea, email is comin' at ya. I'm just surprised no one actually markets that kind of rig. Well, perhaps there just isn't a call for it.....

Uncle Mike's makes one, but as Gollnick mentioned, it's as big as a breadbox and positively screams "Concealed Weapon Inside!".

Now, if you really want to conceal a piece, check this out.

Be very careful please.

I have tried both Thunderwear and the PagerPal. Both seem to pinch the heck out of me when I sit. As for a fanny pack, I like the DeSantis. I still have a few in colors (blue, green, red) that I would trade for blades or $50 delivered USPS CONUS.

is a bag that is multi-purpose in design. BlackHawk dubbed this the Urban Carry Case because the holster design allows you to substitute batons, flashlights, knives, cell phones or similar items in place of your pistol. The 5-5-10 is fully ambidextrous. The main compartment is a super fast and efficient zippered breakaway pocket. Police patch not included

The 5-5-10 comes in 3 different sizes, the smallest is 7.5 x 5 x 1.75 while the large is 9 x 6.5 x 1.75.

Hope this helped.

While I'm not in the biz of making kydex/concealex carry rigs to the extent that Normark is I have been using the stuff off and on when the urge hits me for myself or friends/family. Love making diff configs of conceal rigs..some for carry some for fixed location. For any of you with sheaths/holsters that have outlived their main purpose but still have some life in them think of where they could be used for backup locations, car...truck..home...office..shop..ymmv. Be aware of local laws esp. if outside your domicile but let your imagination be your inspiration.

Your finest weapon is a sharp mind.
