Concealed carry knife

I'm looking for a concealed carry knife for around $50 (though cheaper would be preferred ;) , no longer than 3.25 inches, would probably be carrying it inside/ outside waistband. I have a couple in mind such as CRKT Ryan Plan B, Boker Bud Nealy Escort, and the SOG mini Pentagon.

BTW, though i like the Boker, I believe it comes with a mirror finish...can a mirror finish be 'removed'? I'd prefer a non-reflective finish like stone wash or something like that.

I have another knife in mind but I believe it is made specifically for neck carry (seeing it doesn't come with a clip of some sort).

If anyone has had experiences with any of these such as comfortable to carry or not, versatile sheath positioning? (horizontal/vertical in small of back or waist, IWB etc), how secure the blade is in its sheath while for example running... oh, I will be using this knife exclusively for SD purposes.

Thanks, if anyone has any other knife to recommend, all suggestions will be greatly appreciated :D

The Becker Necker provides nice value in a neck knife with a good sheath for about $35. Sturdy coated carbon steel 3-1/4" blade takes and holds a nice edge.

I carry one while biking.

I have the Larry Ramey small tanto. True it does not come with any belt loop/clip, but the holes in the kydex sheath are drilled to accept a small Tek-Lok in a variety of different positions.

I have the small tanto...too small to be good as a tanto...very soft titanium. For me even the Cold Steel plastic delta dart is a better concealed back-up. But not bad for your first experiment in titanium which is why I got it.

The Becker Necker and the CUDA EDC are both good, inexpensive choices.

The Griptillian is a good choice for a folder that size, very good grip, versatile, strout blade, and awesome lock...all plusses for tactical folders.

But realistically, being armed with a 3" folder isn't much better than EH. I would instead suggest taking that money and taking some SD courses. The money is much better spent. Most people don't go this route because it requires effort but I can tell you, it's much more effective at resolving and even preventing conflict.

Thanks for all your suggestions.... the Becker Necker does seem like a nice knife regarding price and all... does the Becker Necker come with a clip of some sort? Or would I need to get a mini Tek-Lok?

ivan_yulaev- I do agree with you that money would be better spent on SD courses but I'm already taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai and am thinking of adding AMOK to my training. I already have 2 other folders that i use for EDC: a black Endura and AFCK, but this time around i'd like a fixed blade that i can easily carry comfortably with me purely for last resort SD purposes only.

Thanks again :D

i would either get the Becker Necker (i don't believe there's a belt loop on the factory sheath), or save $15 more for this from Fallkniven..
