Hello everyone,

Can anybody recommend me a website or manufacturer who produces concealed carry systems for different size fixed blade knives? I mean carrying the knife under jacket on the chest with handle down fixing it by holes in the end of leather, Kydex and other sheaths.

The matter is that carrying fixed blades in the public is a huge problem in my area. On the belt they are always visible.

James Piorek of Bladerigger used to have some awesome stuff. He also made rigs for your existing knives that worked great. He's since retired and sold his business, some folks report having a near impossible time getting in contact with the new owner. Not sure if he's still making gear or not these days.
Check out custom maker Bud Nealy, his knives and carry systems are pretty low profile as well.

Bob Dozier has what I consider to be one of the best tactical set ups in his original horizontal sheath carry system he invented for his small slicers. They are at the ready in a snap and something everyone should have at least one of in my opinion.

mercharness, which would carry your knife inverted under your arm like a shoulder holster for a pistol

That exactly what I did when I tried to carry my KA-BAR USMC concealed. I disassembled the underarm holster for Beretta 92 pistol strapped two hanging mounting ends with a boot braid and attached leather USMC sheath with boot braids handle down too.

Knife is really concealed under jacket with such carry but nevertheless there are some minuses:

- sheath and the knife are rotating
- knife is concealed as long as you stand or walk, if you try to sit down for example into the car, the non-fixed hanging handle tends to slip out of the jacket. It really looks not like mobile phone so all concealment is potentially compromised.

Alot of people are going to recommend the Mecharness. I'd say just use some paracord in the same way, but the Mecharness is only like $10 so it's totally up to you.

I have actually made my own out of paracord at home. I went so far as to make an "x" alignment type of device out of kydex similar to a pistol holster for the center of my back, and left the free ends open to allow for changing out of what was being carried.

Mercharness is one that I use to CCW a BarkRiver Aurora.

There are copies of that and I would look into those also.

Size of the knife is a huge factor on concealment. Small blades can be easily hidden in a pocket sheath for example. Go bigger you can go in side the waist band, get two pieces of paracord make a belt loop and you decide how deep you want the knife to ride. Other is like mentioned make a shoulder rig the possibilities are endless.
