Concealed Carry

Received my Florida concealed carry permit today. This has probably been covered before, but along with the permit came an instruction sheet that lists limitations for the Florida license. Most prominent and #1 on the list was the limitation for other states for carrying knives. Most states that accept Florida's license state concealed permits are for handguns or pistols only. Florida allows for carry of knives, stun guns, and clubs.

Sounds irrational to ban knives to someone who can carry a firearm. Go figure, that is legislators for you.

How many people are on the forum? I wonder if we mail a petiton to each one then copy it and send it to all of our representatives....

I'm in Jacksonville, Florida and recently purchased a fixed blade knife (4" blade). It's a Cold Steel Mini Tac (is Cold Steel a decent brand?), a tanto style blade with a concealex sheath. Would you happen to know if this is legal to carry? (more specifically without a permit)

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but most of the knives I own I've gotten from the different countries I've been to and most are mainly decorative. One of the few functional knives I've owned was a S&W SWAT, which I managed to lose.
