Maybe I'm just too dense but I can't find an answer in the statutes. My question is: Is it legal to carry a small fixed blade concealed in your pocket. Specifically I am asking about a Charles May Trace 2 7/8" blade or a Handy Scandi 2 1/2" blade. Thanks.

If it`s a tactical weapon by description the answer is no. Here is a link thet you can look at might clears some things up for you. I hope you find this helpful. http://www.thehighroad.org/library/blades/knifelaws.html

weapons permit not just a firearms permit. If you have a CCW license, you should have no problem carrying a fixed blade concealed. However if you have a Florida CCW, you still have abide by the knife laws of other states where it is accepted.

I don`t think it covers knife carry only firearms concealed. But the knife laws in florida may be different on this one.

Florida ccw covers all legal weapons, including, slaps, black jacks, various impact weapons, knives, guns, electrical devices, but not brass knuckles as this is considered an illegal weapon,it also does not allow ballistic knives.
