Hi everyone! New member here though i've been reading around a bit. Does anyone have any recommendations for small edc fixed blades that are in the 20 dollar range? They should be around 3 inches, even two for blade length. The most important criteria is that they have a sheath that is concealable on the belt. I've looked at the benchmark backpacker, the CRKT minimalists, and ruko hawker. Not intended for heavy use, just light edc.

Becker BK11, BK14, BK13, Buck PakLite, Cold Steel Roach Belly, Pendleton Lite Hunter...
There are lots of 2" - 3" blade length fixed blades in the $20 price range. A lot of it comes down to personal preference. :)

If you want to spend a bit more, for the quality and craftsmanship that comes along with it, check out the custom knife threads and you'll see plenty of awesomeness.

ESEE izula?

Amazing warranty, under $50, 6 different colors, good steel with amazing heat treat, great sheath that you can carry on belt, vertical or horizontal or neck

Best $50 I have ever spent honestly

More like 8 different colors. :D

But yeah, I absolutely love my Izulas. Well worth the money.

The Becker BK-11 and BK-14 are also very nice knives, but their sheaths aren't all that great.

I'm assuming that you have already looked at your state laws and determined that fixed blade carry is indeed legal. Personally I would carry something like the kabar TDI or an Izula. Depending on what you want it for determines how you should carry it. If your looking for something tactical in which to slay evil doers I suggest you visit the Practical Tactical section of this forum. If its main function will be as an EDC blade than I suggest carrying the knife in the waist band or horisontally where it can be easily reached and used. For this a Kydex sheath with a Teclock or a paddle system would be ideal.

Please make sure to check your state laws to make sure that you can conceal a fixed blade with no legal troubles. I recently had trouble in this area and am now very cautious when advising people about knife purchases.
