what do you use to mold the concealex?
do you make a model of the knife or use the knife itself or?... what is the best way for you an why?

Well, if you were producing a significant number of sheaths for a certain knife, then a model of the knife would make sense. For one-off production, such as what I do, then using the knife itself is generally recommended. The thing to do is get some heat-resistant foam padding (like miltary spec camping pads) and sandwich them around the knife and hot material with wood boards on the outside. Stand on them, use an arbor press, put a weight on it, whatever.
