Good Day Y'all,

I finished this up a couple days ago, just today got decent images...

Mora Clipper, in a Custom Concealex sheath, fitted with a mini TekLok.... with the original sheath for comparison.

I think the original sheath is functional, but my brother did not like the retention, it is a bit slight... Of course, there is no such problem with the new sheath, even with thin Concealex. And, now he can wear it as a neck knife, if he wants... Or, count the ways...

Been thinking of trying some kydex or concealex for my Mora 711. That little bugger gets used far more than any of my more expensive knives and I need a decent sheath for it. Good job, MDP.

Excellent work. I should get one for my clippers. I have lots of clippers.

Always thought the plastic sheaths made Moras look cheap, but your kydex sheath looks amazing. Very nice!

Great job! I keep meaning to buy one of these for my 510. I could see keeping the sheath and replacing the knife eventually...

Thank you. Then you need lots of them... ; )

I like your sheath much more than the original

Thank you, of course, the original is nice for the price. But I like mine.

Thank you very much.

Very nice work! Have you done one for a Mora 2000 yet?

Thank you. And I have, but it was a while ago, not as good looking... I might do one tonight.

Thank you. And you make a good point, if you use your knife a good deal, as the owners of these seem to, then the sheath can serve two or even three knives.

as always my friend nice work

Thank you my friend. Looking forward to doing some work for you.

I will make arrangements to get one made for the clipper. Where do I order it?

At first I thought, "Why buy a good sheath for a cheap knife?"

Then I realised... "because the cheap mora knife is the one that ends up being used, while the pile of custom blades sit gathering dust..."

Yeah, I had a couple of Kydex sheaths made for Mora Clippers for both my son and daughter...their first fixed-blade knife. The sheath cost twice as much as the Clippers (included a piggy backed firesteel for each).

My reasoning was that the sheath was safer (better retention); more secure (looped onto the belt vice clipped)...I could buy replacement knives in case they lost the inexpensive tool, plus they learned how to maintain the carbon steel blade and later how to sharpen a blade. The Kydex sheath is a great investment for the Mora knives...

I must say Marion, those look great! I'll wait until after Christmas to get that Livesay RTAK off to you,

I like your thought process, for both the reasons stated, and the obvious reason.

After Christmas, sounds good to me.
