? concerning tang length

I was wondering if someone could tell me how far do the tangs extend into the handles of models without a buttcap? Specifically on the smaller models with blades in the 5-6 inch range(such as models 3,4&5). Thanks Adam
 
Sorry to take so long to reply to this post. I had to call the RMK shop during the day [my puter is at home and when I'm home RMK is closed]and it silpped my mind [what little there is left of it] until today.
I spoke to Scott Maynard, shop foreman and this is what I was told:
Tang lengths for small knives is App. 2 1/4 inches into the handle
For Med. knives is App. 2 1/2 inches into the handle
For Large knives is App. 3 inches into the handle.
