Hey everyone,

Just got a Conco stamped double bit axe. I have tried searching everywhere on google for information on it but have amounted to nothing.

Does anyone know anything about it like origin of manufacture and if it was a decently made axe, when it was made (age) or just a cheap one which resulted in the closure of the company?

Welcome aboard. The fine folks here are extremely helpful, but some pictures might be necessary. As an unpaid member you'll have to use a hosting service, but without any images it's difficult to tell much.

Just guessing. Maybe H.D. CONKEY&CO. MENDOTA, ILLINOS ordered those axes as gifts for most important clients?
