I like the way Cold Steel is moving, with super strong locks, non-liner G10, better steel, good blade designs. What I would like to see is a slight tweak in the product line as follows, since I am more outdoors and work in orientation.

1) Take the Mini Recon 1 Clip and Spear point, put brown or olive drab G-10 handles on it, remove the black from the blade, and call it the Mini Folding Hunter.
2) Take the Code 4 Clip and Spear Point, put linerless brown or olive drab G10 on it, and call it the Folding Hunter.

The reasons for these choices are: 1) The finger guard allows closer proximity to the blade without allowing the finger to slide forward (the Recon 1 is too wide so the hand is too far back. This is fine for tactical but not for outdoor and work related tasks). 2) These are already existing designs so the cost of development would be less. 3) the blade designs are adequate for these purposes.

I am a fan of color options, I think the Mini Recon with color options similar to the Micro Recon would be a neat addition as well. From a pure selling point there would be people who would buy every variety.

While I am dreaming, I would love to see a blue mini. I like color options.

One thing, if any "issue" were to arise and you have a black tactical blade named "Recon" in your pocket, some over zealous DA will make use of that to your detriment. IMO, of course.
