to family and friends of those killed on Mt Everest. Many, if not most, of those who climb the mountain would not be able to reach the summit without the aid of the Sherpas.

My mother has traveled to many countries during her working career and has always said that if she could go back to any of those countries it would be Nepal. She was about 60 years old then and she had sherpas bring her and friends to a base camp where they stayed the night. She knows I have interest in Nepals culture and of course Khukris so she always has stories about how kind and helpful these sherpas were. Im sure these they touched many others hearts the same way. Condolences to the families as well.
