As menitioned in my previous thread, I recently purchased a Condor Bushlore as a replacement for my Buck Bucklite 422. Well, it came in today, and I am impressed.
Specifications:
Blade- 4 5/16 inch 1075 carbon steel
9 5/16 oal
1/8 thick
Handle-hardwood slabs
FIt and Finish: Fit and Finish on this particular condor was very good. Clearences were tight and the wood handles were flush with the tang. Odd I mention that, I know, but with my garuda, the scales were a bit un-even and the tang was a bit proud. The edge out of the box was shaving sharp and the profile was nice and shallow.
The Sheath: The fit is very tight, and the leather it is made of is very thick.
Compared to my Garuda and Kukri and Golock:
Other Pictures:
In conclusion, I like this knife very much. It is finished better than my other Condor knives, though I love all my Condors.
p.s. If Condor made a wood scaled folder made of 5160 in a drop point, I would likely have to buy that too. Are you listening Condor?
