Im thinking of picking one of these up, but it looks like the sheath doesnt have a belt loop? That seems odd but the clip i saw didnt really show a belt loop of any kind.

Nope--no belt loop. It's heavy for belt carry anyhow. Historically dadao usually didn't have scabbards and if they did they were more of a blade cover than one meant to be worn.

Good luck finding one though. I've been waiting for MONTHS for my distributors to get more in, but it seems that no further runs of them have been done in that time. Not sure what's up with that, but they may be just trying to keep up with the high demand for a lot of their other items and it's hogging space in their production schedule.

Hmm, no belt loop pretty mcuh makes it useless for me. Odd that they would make a usable sword without a usable scabbard that i can carry

A belt loop would be useless on it. Try to envision belt carry of that thing and you'll understand why.

I can envision it and cant say it would be at all useless to me, its lighter than my mukti and ive belt carried 2 handed swords before.
