im looking for a good chopper i here there both good but if you could only have one which would it be and thanks

I would get the Condor simply because I already have several Condor machetes along with the short machetes; Pack Golok and Village Parang. These are good choppers.

The camp 18 is a BEAST. It handles like a sword and chops real deep into wood. You wont regret it.

Honestly I'd take the camp 18 over an axe! It is good all around but you wont cut through a log faster with another blade. Highly rec commended.

The engineer bolo is HEAVY, it hits more like an axe than a machete. The Camp 18 is lighter, though still a good chopper.

Yeah. The Engineer Bolo is a real tank. Just point it at what you want to destroy and get out of the way! :D I agree regarding its handling--it's almost like an axe/cleaver hybrid.

what about the Baryonyx machetes i like the stile vs the condor engineer bolo but i want a heavy duty chopper since its yours please be honest if you had a choice what one for hard work would you choose i can only afford one for now and i need one i have 2.5 acres to work on .... thanks kenny ps small trees black berries and lots of heavy brush

If I could only have one edged tool in general, for the rest of my life it would hands down be my Baryonyx Machete. I'm obviously biased, but it's both a reasonable weight and throws chips like a felling axe.

If you haven't seen it in action already, check out these videos.

Due to popular requests for 1/8" stock (in spite of my suspicion that it would negatively impact performance) I had them do up the pre-production samples in both the originally envisioned 2.2mm and 1/8" (~3mm) and the 2.2mm was nearly a half pound lighter and yet performed better. There was nothing to be gained from increased thickness, as rigidity is fine in 2.2mm and if planning on splitting really thick stuff (it batons stuff as thick as your calf without trouble) then it's more effective to use wooden wedges, which are easily formed by sinking the hook into a log or stump and then drawing a piece of wood into the upturned primary edge. Just score a line in the piece to be split with a light tap from the blade, then insert the edge of the wedge into the spread wood fibers and drive the wedge home with a baton. Very effective.

Injection molded polypropylene. The tang is full length--the lanyard tube runs through it.

Glad you got this onto the market, good luck with it, I know you put a lot of thought into the design.
