I am in need of a sheath for my Condor Golok and I though I would ask the WSS crew.

I just ordered it and cant wait to use it (still in the mail). I am thinking that I will need a sheath for it -and I want more than duct tape and cardboard/milk cartons or PVC.

I have read that the new sheaths made by condor for this model are defective and dont even fit it. Can anyone confirm this?

I am sure that there are sheaths for other machetes that will fit the Condor. Can anyone recommend the best fitting sheaths by other companies?

The first batch was flawed. They've fixed them now, and Machete Specialist has them in stock. :)
 
I just got the Condor Golok sheath from Machetespecialist yesterday.
Perfect fit:

The swiveling belt loop is the most genius thing EVER for a machete sheath. It makes carrying a big blade easy! :cool::thumbup:
 
^Without that I wouldn't even consider carrying it on a belt -it would end up strapped to a pack. I am a big fan of swivel and dangler sheaths in the woods.

My guess is epoxy or an epoxy-like adhesive, but it's hard to say without actually seeing it in person.
