Looking at buying a fortis hawk and I’m seeing two different grinds, naturally the grind in question is lower price and not from an authorized condor retailer. What say the learned axemen of bladeforums? These two come from the same factory?IMG_6405.jpegIMG_6404.png

I do not know about the grinds, but the pictures seem to be from two different angles.

Bob, also match the powder coated areas on the spike and it looks to me two different grinds, not angles. The bottom picture was ground down more, that is why the big difference in power coated areas.

There aren't enough pixels in those photos to determine that.
Looks pretty clear to me how much area is covered in powder coat on the spike and how much area is ground. Maybe you need a bigger screen? I’m viewing on iPad ProIMG_6406.jpegIMG_6405.jpeg

It's worth noting that Condor has a minimum advertised price policy so if you see someone selling at less than that they're probably not an official dealer. That being said, I can't confirm if there have been two different variants of that model, but Condor does sometimes make product revisions over time.

Looking on iPhone right now and grinds are clearly different and so is the inside radius where the jimping ends and so is the angle of the pic as can be easily deduced from the logo. But the angle difference is not enough to account for an appearance of grind difference. The grind is clearly different in actuality between those two pieces.

Probably just inconsistent grinds.
Condor actually has pretty consistent grinds these days, but they do different kinds depending on the model, so within a model they're very consistent, but model to model they vary a lot. In this case
I'm pretty sure it would be a case of actual product revision, which they do more than many other brands do.
