The factory handle and ricasso on this knife can be improved with a little steel and wood removal. The factory handle shape makes the handle feel smaller in grip area than it actually is. The square rear of the ricasso is uncomfortable on my index finger. After grinding a curve on the backside of the ricasso, and opening up the bottom of the handle , mine feels a whole lot better now.

Nice! So many handles are made "one-size-fits-none." I end up modding most of mine!
