Just wondering if anyone has heard when Condor will be releasing this model or more of the new products? I know Knifecenter is taking pre orders on the Hudson bay, but no date set for when they will come in.

If the Hudson Bay is as nice as the Kumunga, it is worth a short amount of wait time. It is a nice blade

thanks, can we say where you got them from? If not, I will search, and wait....

I got to handle one at Blade. I really, really liked it. I'm kicking myself for not picking one up at the show, but funds are extremely tight right now. I got to meet Mr. Joezilla at the show, he's a very nice guy. But we already knew that, right?

Condor's booth was great. They had a lot of stuff I'd like to pick up- but the Hudson Bay was my favorite. The sheath it comes with is pretty sweet too- nice & thick leather.

If you guys are having trouble finding one, PM me. I may have a few set I could be able to part with. I'll have to check.

Saw one in a freeport me knife shop for MSRP; seemed much heftier blade width than Kumunga I have. Specs say 3/16" for both; Kumunga may be at handle but tapers quickly. Hudson Bay tapers only near the point.

I just picked one up yesterday and it is sweet! Had to touch up the edge it comes super polished so I worked on it for 10 minutes and the blade bites like crazy now scary sharp! The handle is super comfortable the walnut slabs are thin and nicely polished the knife is hefty but well balanced. The sheath is well made from thick leather. I can't wait to use it this weekend. This looks to be a real winner for condor. I put the knife through some basic chopping and whittling chores it's a pretty good light chopper and I was able to make a few fuzzy sticks. The handle was very comfortable with no signs blisters on my hand. This is a great camp knife for around $40.
