Hey guys, I'm a hair new in this particular section.. But I've been a member for quite a while tho.
I just bought a condor Hudson bay from Baryonyxknife.
Although I have not actually received it yet, I couldn't help but start this thread.
I'll give a review as soon as I get it.

I wanted a hunting/ dressing knife for the bigger part if the work.. Deer and pigs primarily.
One problem tho. Hudson bay is not really a good shaped blade for finishing either of the animals I listed..should I need something to finish the animal. (hate to waste bullets, or dirty up add'l arrows at close range)
Also to be used as I general outdoors fixed blade.
I explained what I was looking for and asked Benjamin at Baryonyxknife if the Hudson could be shaped into what I wanted...
Well, if you've ever spoken with Benjamin, he will make almost * anything happen for you. Whatever is in his power. BTW EXCELLENT customer service. Yes, I CAN get it 10 bucks cheaper on flea bay... But you'll never get the custom grinding, quality of service, or response and customer service from any place.. Let alone flea bay. In fact, I haven't seen this level of service from any big box brand.
It's so personal, and quick in response. Whenever I buy any blades I check his site first. I had him modify a condor discord last year and it was awesome.

So. With that being said, he suggested a deeper clip, swedge, and modifying the belly to give it more of a point for stabbing.
Soon as I get it in ill have some pics up, along with a small review.

Go Benjamin!

You're macho enough to keenly figure on 'pig-stickin' a wounded and angry boar, or a buck with pointy antlers and hooves? Good luck to you, and keep your medical insurance up to date!

My only complaint with the Condor Hudson Bay is the the handle should be a bit fatter. I doubt it will do what you envision it doing for you as I think there are better designs. So, you got yourself a camp knife. Congrats.
