I haven't had much luck with reviews for this particular knife anywhere. Just to clarify, this is the knife with the wooden handle and a overall length. (blade too, if I'm not mistaken)

I have seen many reviews for the original bowie, with the rubber handle and bigger length, but aside from a few reviews on Amazon I cannot find much reviews on the bowie with the wooden handle. I know there are a couple owners out there, anyone review or thoughts on this knife? Any recommendations?

Condor makes a quality product at a great value. I have 5 (not the one you mention). Love them all. You may or may not need to sharpen/thin the blade &/or shape/reshape handle. I will be buying more of their products. :D 42Blades sells them on this site. :D

Well, I can be an impulse buyer, so I went and ordered it a few days ago and it arrived today. I like the length and weight of the knife. It's not too big or too small, same with the weight. The wooden handle is very nice and comfortable in the hand. It fit my hand perfectly. The knife didn't come very sharp, but it wasn't dull either, not a big problem, I'll get it hair popping sharp here soon. The leather sheath that comes with it is eh. The snap doesn't really hold the knife in place, as I can pull it out of the sheath without unsnapping it. (and it will stay snapped even after it is pulled out) But I'm glad there is a sheath at all, and it has a decent retention without the snaps anyway. I held it upside down and tried shaking it out and stayed in place, so thats adequate for me. I paid $35 with free shipping for it. I had seen it cheaper on other websites, but I bought it on amazon as I already have an account. I think overall it's an excellent knife with a sheath and easily worth double what I paid for it, so I am very satisfied. I was looking for a kabar sized full tang knife to go with my tomahawk and I found it.
