Anyone have any experience with this? I've been wanting to get an alternate option for the Mora, with this I can wrap para cord or leather for the handle at $16 online pretty good deal. Any thoughts? Drawbacks? Almost 1/8" thick, 1075, 4.5 inches. Also could be used as is for matching up with a machete or axe.

I own one. It is a stout knife that is very capable for bushcraft!

I'm more so eyeing up the blank blade for a cheap option for quality steel. I can make my own sheath as well. Thanks for the thoughts all, I'm assuming I should at least patina the whole thing before wrapping it to prevent rust under the handle.
