I am in Bangkok for a couple days and would like to go there, but I can't find a physical address to save my life. Does anyone know where they are? They say the showroom is open. I guess only if you can find it.

From a quick Google search : Condor T & K has a reseller in Thailand : Thailand Outdoor Shop. They have five shops in Thailand. As I don't read Thai (alas !) and the site is in Thai only, I couldn't check out adresses. I C&Ped two tel. N° : 02-934-8188, 084-388-2007, 081 and 02-393-9397, 081-627-2007. Hope this helps.

Their list of resellers might not be up to date. Happens... Besides, the Thais have local cutlery quite worth considering. I don't see the average Thai lusting on CT&K as the Condor offering is quite similar to the local knives, probably available at much lower prices as they are not imported.

Condor Knife & Tool is in El Salvador (Central America).

Adventure is as adventure goes... You may also find a local bladesmith who does some gorgeous Thai Enep knife. Positive (and not naive) attitude can bring you a long way.

You’re right, they’re not based in Bangkok. I was crossing wires with them and old block. Either way, I’m not able to run much down locally here, unless I drive an hour out of the city for old block or five hours for the village. Yo quiero un parang o un machete. But as you noted mi amigo, I’m on the wrong damn continent for Condor, and not close to anything I can afford to drive to.

I’ve asked and googled but got blank stares and out of town shops. Good shops, but not close enough to get to. I thought maybe someone here had been here/done this. Maybe we can pave the way for members in the future that end up here.

Honestly, Condor Tools & Knives has resellers in the whole world... Not necessarily where you want / need them. But I'm quite astonished that there is no shop in the main town. This said, I have a hard time understanding why you want / need especially this brand (decent, honest stuff, no problem...) in a foreign country that has quite a gorgeous offering on its own of home made knives (that stand up to hard everyday use, year after year, you know, peasants, villagers, bushclearers...) Just my two pences, here.

No real need for Condor, I just wanted to go home with a souvenir, one the wife doesn't mind I'm picking up (usually more conversation is involved with me getting a new blade.) If there's a locally made blade handy I'd love to pick one up. I just don't think it'll happen at this stage.

Do the talk, and get that home made Thai Enep. Tons of cred to be gained here (with pictures !!!)... Just joking. Enjoy your vacation and be sure the missus enjoys it, too. That's the way you do it...
