Condor knives warped from factory.

Recently I acquired two new Condors. A bushlore, and a bushcraft basic 5. Both knives are warped about a millimeter, what looks to be from the heat treat process. They aren't hurt in any way, and the fit and finish is really nice, but they are warped. Otherwise they seem like outstanding knives. Anyone else noticed that their new Condor was warped from the box new?

I come across them from time to time. If it's problematic to you just write Rick Jones at rtj2@att.net and let him know about it, preferably with a photograph, and he'll make sure you get taken care of. :)

Any Condors I've handled looked true and straight as an arrow.

I've owned many knives, including folders that had warped blades. Not that big of a deal IMHO and I've returned zero of them... YMMV.

Everything from two Scrapyard 1311's with a slight left-hand curve to a benchmade 581 & 810 with slightly warped blades.

It sucks a lot more on the folders as it effects opening and closing smoothness in my experience. Tempted to do satin re-blades on both as I have the coated versions.

Mine were warped slightly too, but not enough to impede performance.

It is frustrating to the perfectionist inside me, though

Yea it's not that big a deal from the performance standpoint, but it's just a little annoying. I have only two Condors now, and other than the minor warpage, they are outstanding knive's. I won't be returning them since I like them so much. Iv had larger chopper blades come warped from the factory, but never a smaller blade.

Condor is making improvements in their QC, and if they ever perfect it, then they will be one of my go to companies. Both knive's came with super even grinds and sharp , also with very nice walnut handles. Sheaths are the same quality that came with some of my $130 knive's.
