I have never paid any attention to Condor knives other than I always wanted their Golok and today I was surfing to see what the Golok was going for and I found a site that sells them and all of a sudden I realized that Condor makes lots of knives and ax's.

If you have ever has a Condor post what you had and how you liked it.

Post Pictures of their knives.

I did not realize they made so many big bowies.

I own and have used many of their knives small to large including a number of their machete models. The Condor knives that I use the most are the Bushlore and Compact Kephart. I like both of those. The mini Bushlore is also handy but the Compact Kephart replaced that one. From a knife cost perspective, some feel their mini models are a bit over priced when you can get the full sized one for just a bit more. The Compact Kephart is done in 1095 and I really like the little knife as an edc fixed blade and it gets used a lot.

(Changed my Woodslore to the proper name > Bushlore.)

I have several, Warlock down to Otzi in size. Never used any, but I think they are cool. Do they still make the Hudson Bay?

I believe they offer two sizes of Hudson Bay now. I have the original one which I believe has about an 8.5" blade. Could be wrong on the length as I don't use bigger blades very often.

I have a couple Goloks. It was originally my go to machete. But I gradually felt that it was too light for heavy use and the steel thickness is too thick for small stuff.

I had one of their kukri machetes, I loved it then a coworker broke it doing something stupid. I have one of their blade blanks in the mail now.

I've got a full size Duku Parang that I use a lot. It has a nice taper from the handle about three sixteenths of an inch to just under an eighth of an inch thick before the clip that leads to the point.
Edited to add, I really like the sheath it came with.

I’ve never owned one but I’m interest in them. They have quite a few different offerings that catch my eye, at great prices.

I guess I am a bit of a Condor junkie. I have the Bushlore (used very little) and the Kephart which Inhave spent a fair amount of time with over the years thinning the edge.

My first Condor machete was the Golok. It has been my best chopper, having taken down a couple of 5 and 6 inch trees. I have not been as pleased with the Pack Golok, which others seem to like so much. I still need to figure out what I want to do with the edge.

I also like the Eco Parang and the Mini Duku Parang. The Mini chops very well, especially for its size. The Eco Parang shows promise, and could turn out to be a better chopper than the Golok.

The Baryonyx machete is an awesome cutting tool. Think of it as a Smatchet with a billhook. It is effective across the widest range of vegetation. It ghosts its way through grasses almost effortlessly, and cuts in both directions. Because of its weight and length, I swing it differently, without as much wrist snap. It chops by cutting deep rather than throwing out chips like the Golok or an axe. If I get lucky and hit it right, it will take down a green trunk of 3 inches with two swings, an angled cut from each side of the tree. Because of its weight, I can only use it in shorter stints.

My first was the regular Golok also. It changed the way I think of a machete but I gradually moved away from it for others. I do like the Pack Golok. I think it is the rounded point (distal taper might be the proper term) that some might not like. In which case there are the Village Parang and other similar ones that chop very well.

With the apparent/relative abundance of knives that I own, I have not taken the time to thin the edge down on the original Kephart. As it came from the factory, it is pretty much a turd. I always want to say "Woodslore" instead of Bushlore. I really like this one and it and the Compact Kephart are my most used fixed blades.

I would like to get the Duku Parang.

I have the condor hudson bay .
Its a good camp knife .
They are basic but tough enough to handle most things when out camping or in the woods .
They dont seem to be as low priced these days in the uk as they used to be but are still good value .
A throwback to when a decent sized fixed blade was a must have for outdoors adventures .
