condor mcr7 chest pack with BK4 and BK16

OK folks, since I posted about this in my intro post, I had to follow up. So, anytime I'm out with the pup on more than just a dog walk, I go with this. Usually, it's 4-7 miles on trails that go up and down the banks of the Susquehanna River. That's where alot of our public use land is here in south central Pa. Carrying the BK4 like this was more comfortable than I thought, using it for trail mnt. and alot of grapevine cutting along the way. A water bottle, 2 pockets, one for my stuff, one for the dogs stuff, the BK4, the BK 16, and I'm good to go. I'll be out tomorrow morning to see how much snow is left, and how high the creek crossings are.

I think the BK4 is a perfect fit there. Anything bigger like the 21 would not work IMO. The angled handle really makes it work in that position. I don't think the BK9 would work either, but I got one to try.

I have to carry my 6 down the side of my back pack. We're the walking sticks would go. It's just to long. I do carry it cross draw but that's not ideal. When I draw it at that angle the edge cuts into the sheath. My 4 in the dangler is perfect. So my load out is the 6 in the pack and a 16 with a dangler. Or my 4 with my dangler and a Mora clipped to my shoulder harness.

Great!!!!! Your going to Love the 4. A bit of a learning curve on cutting with it. Some snap action with your wrist and it will impress you.

The BK 4 is a great light, for a "Big Blade", for a multi-tool.
