I've been trying to hunt down a condor pack golok with no luck. does anybody know where i can get one. I've tried several different online stores, even tried to special order it. everyone keeps telling me "oh they will be in about 2 weeks..." uhm thats what you said 2 weeks ago... I want this machete bad!!!!

Give it two weeks. :p

I believe I heard sometime in June they will be available.

Ordered one from Knifecenter.com for the above price. Im sure not the cheapest on the web but their customer service is great and that to me is worth a few more bucks. The pack golok is a nice piece of gear for the price. I got mine in two days ago and I've already used it to split some small wood for a fire. Hope you can find one!
Ciao!

Dale....does the golok have a hollow grind like the pics or is it the regular v bevel found on most of their large knives

Hey man,
The Pack Golok comes with a convex grind. I wouldn't say its the prettiest convex grind i've seen before but it'll do. Condor choose to leave the top part of the blade with the unfinished raw steel and while it looks really cool it does reveal some inconsistencies with each side of the blade. One side has about an inch of polished convexed edge, while the other has about an 1.25" to 1.5" of the polished section. So i guess thats me nit-picking. Im going to really get a feel for it in the next coming days and decide whether I want to mess with it at all. So far though it chops really well for its size. Regardless of the measurements of the grind it still performs well beyond its price point. Haven't used it on light brush or vines yet. If it can handle that then I'd say money well spent.

I'm looking for one too, but, what they want to ship to Canada is ridiculous.
You would think the golok was 10 feet long and wayed 400lbs by what they want for shipping

What are they asking for shipping? Just curious. I'll be getting some in later today and I ship to Canada all the time. Machetes and chopping knives tend to be too large/heavy to go out USPS First Class mail, so Priority is typically the cheapest option. Unfortunately that costs some money.

Hey Ben,
Most quotes have been have been over 25$
I have had 3 foot long swords shipped from the U.S. for no more than 15$ from individuals.
I understand that there is handling and such, but when you end up paying 60-75% over the price it gets annoying.
Rant over.
P.S. Your shipping costs seem quite reasonable.

Wowza--I can tell you that if someone sent you a sword for only $15 then you got a bargain there! :D

They're not in just yet. Probably won't land for another few hours, and then they'll have to pass inspection. So expect them to be up around 8:00pm EST. :)
