Condor Knives was started by Phil Hoffmann after he sold Lakota. He designed the Lakota line of knives as well as Condor. You can definitley see a similarity between the two. Condor was eventually purchased by Blackjack and I believe they were discontinued well before Blackjack went belly up. Its probably been close to 10 years since the last Condors were made. I own several, both folders and fixed blades and have been very favorably impressed with them. The most common type had black zytel handles and black Codura sheaths. They also made some with gray micarta handles which are very nice. I have also seen some models with excellent stag handles but not too many of these. Are the ones in the gun shop new old stock or are they used? If used, what kind of condition? What is blade size and OAL?
How much are the asking? When they closed down, a lot of inventory was available at various places for substantial discounts. Hope this helps.
