What's the tang like on the Condor Rodan/Varan/Kumunga? I'm interested in one of them as a cheap beater but the grippable part of the handle seems too short for my massive hands. The rough "idea" is to hack off the handle material, take the grip area up to the top of the choil, and make new, longer wooden slabs.
