I was looking on Condor tools and knives website ( www.condortk.com ) and noticed they had a couple offerings of bushcraft knives and a nessmuck style knife all in 1075 carbon steel and with wood handles. there not a real picture but a computer rendition of sorts but im wondering if anyone has had any experience with either of these knives yet? whats your take on them if so? if you have any real pictures of them that would b great to see as well...

I had the chance to handle all of them at the Blade show over the summer, and they are sweet. They aren't highly finished, but they have it where it counts in terms of materials, design and workmanship. The factory edges are excellent. The handles are just a bit rough- meaning they could use a bit of shaping. With a little bit of love on the handles, they'll make excellent outdoor tools. Especially considering the price!

They are pretty much impossible to find still, but hopefully the supply situation will turn around before long. Once they reach market, I'm sure they will be tremendously popular.

The only problem with the new Condor knives and machetes that I'm aware of, is that I don't have them yet. I have target lock on the bolo and the bushlore when they become widely available.

Just received the 2" bushcraft and 5" bushcraft today. Haven't had time to do anything but initial inspection, but they are great for the price.

Decent leather pouch sheath, big walnut grips, well polished convex edge -sharp enough to pop armhairs and push cut paper. Fit is good for the price although I think that anyone getting one would want to do a bit of work on the scales and maybe the edge some.

It ain't no $200 bushie, nor the prettiest, but it will probably stand-up to most bushcraft and Scandi equivalents costing 5X-10X the price.

Worthwhile owning a few if you can find any. Always good for wet marches or as a loaner to friends.

Added: I didn't pay MSRP, just about 1/2.

I'll be getting some. Decent steel with a decent handle and a decent sheath for that price? I'd be a fool not to get some.

 I have the 4 inch bladed bush craft knife. I am looking to get the other bushcraft and bush lore knives in time. I also want the nessmuk. The blade that I have is awesome and I love it. The sheaths are also very high quality leather.:D

Joezilla in the WSS forums designed those knives. Alot of dealers bought small sample runs that ran out instantly and now it's hard to find any anywhere in stock. They have been exceptionally well accepted.

I am looking for the 4" bushcraft. Does anyone know where it can be found? Also how are the choppers?

I bought one of the 4" ones that the company brought to the BLADE SHOW this year. I like it. I like it a lot. A real bargain for what you get.
