Ok guys just wondering how everyone is liking condor knives? I would like feedback from those who have owned or used these blades! Please tell what blade you used and how you liked or disliked it! And btw pics would also be great!

I like their knives. Great value for the price. I have a Kumunga. It's No Junglas but I like it. It's totally basic. It does need a new sheath I was looking at the Lost mountain one. I like the Rodan also nice pair these two would make..

I have 2 of their machetes, the bolo and the 18" El Salvador machete. They are really nice for the price!

The blades are thicker than tramontinas so they chop better. They also come completely sharpened - way better than most other machetes that are either not sharpened or only partially sharpened.

The bolo has huge handles, however, so not as comfortable for me as the El Salvador. But, for under $20 each, I am not complaining!

I bought one of their scandi grind bushcraft knives a couple months ago and am very pleased with it's ability to hold an edge. Got a nice leather sheath with it also.

I have a Rodan. Very sturdy. I am sure the blade can be sharper than I can get it.

I think the handle is too big in relation to the blade size but that is not a problem with the knife.

Overall it is a well built quality knife especially for the cost.

I have a Rodan and have mixed feeling about it. I can't get the darn thing screaming sharp with diamond stones, ceramics and even used my machete bastard file on it. Hardest steel I ever messed with. Maybe a belt sander would do the job but I don't have one. The handle is huge in comparison to the blade which should be about a foot long to be in proper proportion.

I have put it in my POS category and plan to beat the h*ll out of it (baton) soon. :)

The handle is huge in comparison to the blade....
The specifications of the rodan are clearly legible on the internet, the handle is larger than the blade by design.

(the blade)..... which should be about a foot long to be in proper proportion.
Maybe you intended to purchase the Kumunga model instead of the rodan, it would have cost more than the $25 you paid for the rodan, but the blade would have been in the proper proportion to the handle.

Trust me - I'm gonna get my $25 worth out of it this weekend or next. It's next up on my "HIT IT" list. :D

I have no remorse about buying it what can you expect for that size fixed blade and that price tag?

I had a Kumunga, was not fond of the handle - very nice sheath, though - and decided it felt a little "light", so I traded it for a Condor Kukri.
Love the Kukri.
Also got to test out the Parang - very nice.
And a buddy of mine has a golok -- also an excellent tool.
I'm seriously considering one of their Hudson Bay knives.

I have a Golok....It's TOP NOTCH in my book. I was a little underwhelmed when I got it in, i thought it would be bigger.....But then i took it out and messed around with it a bit. That thing is a beast. It cuts and chops like nobody's business.

Then one day I was hacking some small limbs out of a tree so I could mow around it......and the ball at the end of the handle broke off. Best I can tell the wood just had a weak spot on it as I wasn't doing anything abnormal or any just tasking chores.

BUT I can not say enough good things about Condor customer service as they had a replacement golok in the mail from el salvador within a days time of me reporting it. I will be buying from them as frequently as possible from now on!
