Hey guys i was wandering if anyone has had any experience good or bad with CONDOR products. It looks like you can only by them from a retail store and not from there website and i have a surplus store that carries them. I am just looking for anyone tjat has used them. THANX

I think he might be talking Condor soft goods not Condor Knife and Tool e.g. Imacasa machetes from El Salvador?

If you're talking Condor soft goods, they are hit and miss, depending on what it is. Small pouches, etc. are generally pretty good, the larger stuff not as much. Little more pricey but Maxpedition is better quality stuff. What are you looking at in particular?

BTW JK you make some amazing knives!

Sorry guys I was looking at the assault pack I think the outside bag comes off to create a seperate one. I look @ this one in a surplus store and it had lot of pockets and storage but I had never heard of the brand so I figured I would throw it by yall. THANX

I have their sling pack which I haven't used yet but it seems to be of good quality. I also have one of their fleeces and the quality exceeds the price. Well made and it doesn't cost a king's ransom. If you're not using the pack to jump out of airplanes or patrol the mountains of Afghanistan I think it'll do just fine as an EDC or BOB.

I've bought a Buttpack, 2 Quart canteen holder, and 2 mag pouches all made by Condor. The Canteen cover is way to loose for the canteen, but other then that, all the rest of the stuff has been good. Have handled some of their drop leg rigs at the Surplus shop in Orem and they were pretty nice. So for the most part, I think they are good for the money.

Maxpedition is the way to go. I actually checked out one of the Condor assault packs at a retail store recently, and it was pretty obvious it wasn't as good of material or workmanship as a Maxpedition.
