OK. My first post. Just got my first khuk yesterday (WWII) and I'm completely addicted. Already ordered another one (an AK). I'm the customer that bought and traded the Kobra for the AK today--someone got a heck of a deal because of that :)

I have handled a wide variety of knives and swords over the years, but this is, hands down, the best "feeling" blade I've carried.

Just wanted to post and say that these are some incredible weapons.

There IS a self-help group for the addiction. Problem is, they help with the addiction, not against it.:)

Thanks, all. Was just outside getting used to the feel. I hate to cut with because it ruins the polish. But man oh man, does it cut...

Anyone have a good link with tips on restoring the polish--just in case I can't forgive myself for marring the blade?

Shucks Rip, wear marks show character. A little rubbing with a scotch pad is all the Khukuri needs to keep the blade clean.:)

The moons and starts must've lined up this week

I have to agree with Sams, because I can't refrain from using my Khuks; so marks have to be a sign of character. Welcome. Bet someday you wish you had a Kobra.

munk, I'm confident I'll end up getting a Kobra. It's just that I was torn between an AK and a WWII as a first one. So naturally, I had to have both.

Either a sirupati or a kobra is next.

Man, I didn't expect to start collecting these things.

to the Cantina. I always like to be newbise that they can't buy just one, but it yer case the HIKV was jsut too quick!
