Confirmation times?

What kind of times did people get on their emailed confirmations??
 
Anyone know if the times on the confirmations are generated by the sender or by the receivers own time set??
 
not sure but my guess is that your server stamps it, but I don't know for sure. Either way, I hope I made the cut, but I'm not holding my breath
 
If you read through all the message headers, you should see a timestamp placed by each receiving host in the chain, with the most recent (the one on top) coming from your ISP's mail server. The one you should care about is the bottom one, which is generated by Busse's mail host.

Mine went out at 21:57:38 and came back eight seconds later at 21:57:46. :)
