I have been slowly building up my CRK folder knife collection but today a 7" Green Beret caught my eye. Never been much of a fixed blade fan but when I picked it up it was awesome. I'm struggling, not sure what I would do with it and am I going to get into trouble stashing a knife like that in my car or carrying around in the outdoors. I don't know if I want you to talk me into it or out of it. So do you guys and gals carry your large fixed blade CRKs on your person or in your car and what do you use them for mostly? Thanks.

I bought a Pacific and a Warrior JUST because of the sheer awesomeness of fondling them. They're just so well made , how can anyone resist!

I do plan on "using" one for camping and the like, just don't know which one gets duty yet

Every time I watch a show like Man vs Wild it makes me want a fixed blade and that Green Beret you bought sounds like a great one!

The Beret is a sweet knife, great for the woods..or for an emergency knife in your Bug out bag.
Had one for a while, and really liked the ergos..Great field knife.

Go for it.
I carry mine while hiking in my backpack.
Makes me feel good.
It is a little heavy, but lighter than a fixed blade and an axe.
