Confused About A Remington..

hI ALL

OK I just got a 1982 Remington "bullet year knife" stamped (1982)..OK I got that part..

Now the wierd thing is its etched Madison North Carolina..Ok, I know the Remington headquarters is there, but it wasn't there in 1982. they didnt build it till 1996..

So why the commemerative for Madison??

Any help would sure be appreciated..

(side ?) does Camillus make Remingtons???

Yes...The Bullet Series are made by Camillus. I just recently got the 1990 ullet Series 1306 Tracker Replica off EBAY and it has become my EDC lately, cool retro "outdoorsman" blade!
